AT STRANDGÅRDEN IN SKATEHOLM

Skateholm is located in south of Sweden by the beautiful coast. If you are looking for a relaxed holiday in a beautiful and calm environment Strandgården in Skateholm is the right place to stay.

With just 200 meters to the sea you can relax with a good book in your hands or take a long walk alongside the beach with white sand.

Strandgården is a charming halftimbered house from 1870s which consists of four apartments, called KRÅKAN, MÅSEN, SKATAN and KOLTRASTEN. Our new addition to Strandgården is a cozy little house from 1910 called GÅSEN.

SKATAN

SKATAN consists of 6+2 beds. It has one kingsize bed and three double beds (x1 140cm, x2120cm). There is also a baby cot if needed. Skatan has one full bathroom and a shared garden with barbecue facilities.

KOLTRASTEN

KOLTRASTEN is a charming apartment including 4+2 beds. It has two kingsize beds plus a sofa bed (160cm). Koltrasten has one full bathroom as well as an extra quest toilet and shared garden with barbecue facilities.

MÅSEN

MÅSEN is a newly renovated apartment from 2019. Måsen consists of 4 beds on the second floor (sleeping loft). There is one full bathroom as well as shared garden with barbecue facilities.

KRÅKAN

KRÅKAN is our cozy little cottage and was built in 2022. One kingsize bed in the sleeping loft and a sofa bed on ground floor. Full bathroom and large outdoor wooden deck.

GÅSEN

GÅSEN is our newest addition to Strandgården and the house is from 1910 and was fully renovated 2024. One double bed and two single beds as well as two single beds in the attached guest house. Full bathroom and large outdoor garden.

ABBEKÅS GOLFCLUB

About 10 minutes drive in east direction you will arrive at Abbekås. If you are interested in golf you have to visit Abbekås Golfclub.

PÅSKRUNDAN

Once a year during easter many artists exhibit their artwork all around Skåne. If you love art this is something you can't miss out on.

BEDDINGE PIZZERIA

Want to try the best Pizzas in town? Then you have to eat at Beddinge Pizzeria. It only takes 15 min bikeride alongside the beach to get there.

HÖRTE BRYGGA

About 5 min drive east, you get to the restaurant Hörte Brygga. They serve locally produced food.

CYCLING ALONG THE COAST

Cycle lane along the coast all the way to Ystad There is a new great cycle lane from Strandgården all the way to Ystad.

HÖNAN AGDA

Fan of decorations and interior? About 15 minutes drive away there is a shop called Hönan Agda. They stock beautiful interior such as cushions, vases and furniture in a shabby chic style.

THE BEACH

Strandgården is located just 200 meters from the beach.

BUSES TO YSTAD AND TRELLEBORG

Every 20 minutes there are buses to both the smal town Ystad as well as Trelleborg. The busstation is just 1 minute walk from Strandgården.

YSTAD DJURPARK (Zoo)

20min drive and you get to Ystad Djurpark. A perfect getaway for everyone in the family where you will meet over 80 species of mammals, reptiles and birds. They have 7 exciting playgrounds and two pools.
